Author Biographies

Ferdinantos Kottas is a Research Fellow and holds a Ph.D. in Empirical Finance and Financial Econometrics from the National University of Ireland Maynooth, completed in collaboration with University College Dublin. His academic background includes multiple master's degrees with distinctions in Data and Web Science, Business Analytics, Economics, and Accounting and Finance. He is working as a Senior Risk Analyst, and prior to that as a Crypto and Equity Analyst and Data Scientist across Europe, leading projects in credit risk modeling, algorithmic trading, and portfolio management across LATAM, Africa, Asia, and the EU. His research focuses on asset pricing, financial econometrics, and the integration of machine learning and AI in finance. He has contributed to the Financial Mathematics and Computation Research Cluster (FMC²) in Dublin and conducted economic research at the Centre of Planning and Economic Research (KEPE) in Athens.
