Maher A.R. Sadiq Al-Baghdadi is a professor at the University of Kufa, the Faculty of Engineering, Najaf, Iraq. Dr. Al-Baghdad is also associated with the Kufa Centre for Advanced Simulation in Engineering (KCASE) within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the same university. He is president of the International Energy and Environment Foundation (IEEF) and director of the Fuel Cell Research Center. Professor Al-Baghdadi's research primarily focuses on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and its applications in engineering, particularly in the modelling and analysis of proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells and hydrogen energy technology. His work includes the development of novel designs for PEM fuel cells and using CFD models for their analysis and design. He has authored several books on these subjects. In addition to his research and publications, Professor Al-Baghdadi has contributed to the academic community through his work on alternative fuels and green design, reflecting a commitment to advancing sustainable engineering solutions.
