Author Biographies

Boohyun Shin received his B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Korea, in 2008. He joined Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) in the same year and has since been working at the KEPCO Research Institute. He received his M.S. degree from Seoul National University in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Korea University. His research interests include the development of power distribution equipment, such as distribution substations, power electronics, switchgear, and transformers. He is also currently conducting research on protection coordination in distribution systems.
He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Yeungnam University, Gyeongbuk, Korea, in 2013 and 2015, respectively, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electrical Engineering. Since 2020, he has been working as a researcher at the KEPCO Research Institute. His research interests include power system control and operation, optimal power flow and evolutionary computation, and EMTP and ATP application.
She received her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Incheon National University in 2015. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 2017 and 2023, respectively. Since 2018, she has been working as a researcher at the KEPCO Research Institute.
