Prof. Dr. Chao Li received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cambridge in 2019, supported by the prestigious Cambridge Trust Scholarship. He completed his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Tianjin University in 2015. Since 2020, he has served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tianjin University. Prof. Li’s research interests include smart grid protection and control, high-temperature superconductivity application technology, and superconducting magnet wireless excitation technology. He has received severalacademic honors, including the IOP Early Career Researchers Award from the Institute of Physics (UK) and the Alwyn Heong Fund from Downing College, University of Cambridge.
