Siyang Liao is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the
School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Wuhan University, Wuhan,
China. He also serves as deputy secretary-general of the AC/DC Power Supply and
Distribution Technology and Equipment Professional Committee of the China
Electrotechnical Society. His research interests include power system operation and
control with a high proportion of new energy. He won the second prize of the
China Electric Power Technology Invention Award in 2022 and the second prize of
the Ministry of Education's Technology Invention Award in 2018.
