Naliana Lupascu obtained her PhD in agrochemistry in 2017 at the USAMV Doctoral School in Bucharest with the thesis “Research on the dynamics of the content of heavy metals and nutrients in soil in long-term experiments”. She began her research activity in 2007 at the physicochemical analysis laboratory of the Office of Pedological and Agrochemical Studies in Constanta. Since 2015, she has been working at the Geochemistry and Gas Chromatography laboratory of GeoEcoMar, Constanta branch, as a chemical engineer. Naliana Lupascu is currently actively involved in various national and international projects, the main areas of interest being the assessment of eutrophication of marine and freshwater environments (determination of nutrients, organic matter, chlorophyll), biogeochemical cycles (C, N, P), and analysis of major compounds in sediments (CaCO3, TOC).
