Author Biographies

Elisa Ansoleaga is a Full professor, Research Director, and Researcher of the Psychosocial Studies at Work Program (PEPET) at the Faculty of Psychology, Universidad Diego Portales, in Chile. She is a psychologist (2000) who graduated from the Universidad Diego Portales, and received a Master's in Management and Public Policy (2004) from the University of Chile, and a PhD in Public Health (2012) from the University of Chile. She is the Principal Researcher of the Regular Fondecyt Project N°12020547 on leadership and mental health in public health workers in Chile. Her lines of research are related to violence at work, psychosocial factors, leadership, mental health, human rights, and health.
Magdalena Ahumada is a Professor of the Faculty of Psychology at Alberto Hurtado University. She is a psychologist, with a Master's in Social Research Methods awarded from the Diego Portales University (2020), with a Diploma in Ergonomics and Occupational Health, from the Universidad Mayor (2021). Her lines of research are linked to occupational health and mental health at work with a focus on organizational interventions and gender perspective. She is a member of RIPOT (Ibero-American network of psychology of work and organizations). She received the Thesis Award in Safety and Health at Work (Superintendency of Social Security of Chile, 2020).
Elena Soto-Contreras is a Teaching Collaborator in the Department of Psychology at the University of Concepción and Technical Staff of the Fondecyt Regular Project N°1220547 on leadership and mental health in public health workers in Chile. She is a psychologist (2021) and received her Master's in Work and Organizational Psychology (2024) from the University of Concepción. Her lines of research are related to work design and redesign, leadership and mental health, and mental health at work. Her Master's thesis was funded by the National Master's Scholarship 2021 of the National Agency for Research and Development of Chile.
Javier Vera Bravo is a professor at Finis Terrae University and a research assistant at the University of Chile. He has a degree in Social Anthropology (2016) from Alberto Hurtado University and a Master in Biostatistics (2024) from the University of Chile. His experience includes academic research, consulting, and collaborating with different public institutions. He has participated in research projects on health leadership, school violence and contemporary art, developing skills in mixed methodologies, quantitative and qualitative analysis with R, ATLAS.ti, STATA, and NVivo. His current research interests focus on mixed methods for social analysis.
