Prof. Dr. Congyi Li obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2012, and in Nuclear Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2012. He earned his PhD degree in Nuclear Engineering from University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2018. From 2019 to 2021, he served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. From 2021 to 2022, he served as an Assistant Researcher at Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics. Since 2022, he has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Puyuan Institute of Future Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include radiation effects in energy materials, advanced nuclear fuel, and advanced nuclear radiation detectors.
Prof. Dr. Haibin Zhang obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Metal Materials Heat Treatment from Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering in 2000, and his PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. From 2009 to 2011, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute for Materials Science, Japan. From 2011 to 2023, he worked as a researcher and doctoral supervisor at China Academy of Engineering Physics. Since 2023, he has been working as a tenured professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Smart Energy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Technology, and Materials Science and Engineering.
