Ana Maia Fernandes is a doctoral student in Education at the University of Beira Interior. She holds a master’s degree in Physics and Chemistry Teaching and is currently a secondary school teacher at a school in the Lisbon Metropolitan area. Her research interests include the gender gap, equity, and inclusion in science education.
Prof. José Luís Araújo holds a PhD in Teaching and Dissemination of Science from the University of Porto. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education and Psychology at the University of Aveiro and an integrated member of the Research Centre on Didactics and Technology in the Education of Trainers. His areas of interest include Chemistry and Physics Education, with a particular focus on exploring STE(A)M approaches and the integration of AI into science education.
