Prof. Dr. Francesco Driussi is an Associate Professor in Electronics at the Polytechnic Department of Engineering and Architecture (DPIA) of the University of Udine. He was a Research Associate in the Department of Electrical, Management, and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Udine from 2005 to 2018. He completed his Laurea degree and Ph.D. studies in Electronic Engineering at the University of Udine in 2000 and 2004, respectively. He has published more than 120 publications in scientific journals or proceedings of international conferences. His research interests include semiconductor device physics, experimental characterization, and modeling of semiconductor devices.
Prof. Dr. Pierpaolo Palestri is a Full Professor of Electronics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Modena, Italy. He completed his Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy, and his Ph.D. studies in Industrial and Information Engineering at the University of Udine, Udine, Italy. His research interests include the development of advanced modeling tools for electron devices and sensors, modeling of GaN power devices, design of analog/mixed-signal circuits, modeling and design of high-speed I/O interfaces, avalanche photodiodes for X-ray detection, and electrochemical models for biosensors and iontronic devices.
