Dr. Chow Gary Chi-Ching is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Health and Physical Education, the Education University of Hong Kong. He has covered diverse areas within the field, including postural control, performance analysis, sports training, and recovery. Recently, he has focused on utilizing technology in sports and physical education, addressing community concerns through his research. In the 2020/21 academic year, Dr. Chow was awarded the Early Career Scheme (ECS) Project Grant by the Research Grants Council (RGC), supporting his study on remote exercise at home. In 2023/24, he secured support from the RGC again for his first General Research Fund (GRF) project, which explores the process of learning to cycle through a balance bike from the perspective of postural control. These grants illustrate the excellence of his research and emphasize the significance of competitive funding in supporting Dr. Chow's ongoing academic development.
Dr. Xihan Chen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology. His research interest include AI for science and material discovery. He has secured general fund grant from National Natural Science Foundation of China to support his research.
