Dr. Kazuhiro Aoki received a BS from Nagoya University in 2002 and an MS and PhD from Osaka University in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received postdoctoral training at the Graduate School of Biostudies of Kyoto University. He became an assistant professor, senior lecturer, and associate professor from 2007 to 2016 at Kyoto University. From 2016 to 2023, he became a full professor at the National Institute for Basic Biology. Now, he is a full professor at Kyoto University. His study focuses on the decision-making of cell fates based on the dynamics of intracellular signaling.
