Matteo Fincato graduated in Computer Engineering in 2020 and obtained a Ph.D. in ICT affiliated with the AImageLab research group at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. His research explores Computer Vision and Deep Learning, focusing on the development of advanced 3D and 2D human pose estimation techniques in both single and multi-person contexts, particularly tailored for complex industrial environments. Before his doctoral studies, he worked as a research fellow, where he pioneered methodologies in Virtual Try-On, leveraging computer vision and deep learning to transform virtual clothing trials in the fashion industry.
Roberto Vezzani graduated in Computer Engineering in 2002 and obtained a Ph.D. in Information Engineering in 2007 at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. Since 2016, Vezzani has been an Associate Professor at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Enzo Ferrari of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. His research interests mainly belong to video surveillance systems, with a particular focus on head, hand, and body pose estimation, and vision-based HCI. He also specializes in IoT, tinyML, and multi-sensory systems, ranging from thermal cameras, depth, and events, to sensors. He is the author of about 120 papers published in international journals and conference proceedings.
