Dr. Tracy Zhandire Tracy Zhandire is an upcoming social scientist with a strong interest in health systems research, gender-based violence (GBV), and HIV prevention. She is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), School of Nursing and Public Health. She holds a PhD in Public Health from UKZN, where her research focused on designing a documentation tool for traditional health practitioners (THPs) to enhance collaboration between traditional and conventional health systems. Her work addresses the growing use of unconventional medicine and the need for structured health records. Tracy has a background in medical informatics and library science, contributing to her expertise in information management for health systems. She is passionate about multidisciplinary research that informs policy and improves healthcare accessibility in African contexts.
