Prof. Dr. Shuping Wu is an Associate Professor in the School of Materials Science & Engineering at Jiangsu University. He received his PhD in Materials Physics and Chemistry in 2014 at Wuhan University and worked as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Alberta in Canada from 2019 to 2020. He teaches courses including Analytical Chemistry of Materials, Inorganic Chemistry of Materials, Fundamental Experiments in Materials Chemistry, Marine Engineering Polymer Materials, Biomimetic Intelligent Nanomaterials, Bionics, Intelligence and Nanotechnology, Bionic Materials and Principles, Composite Materials, and Polymer-based Composites. His research interests focus on fundamental and applied studies of bio-based polymer materials and sustainable energy chemistry, biomass utilization, high-value utilization of agricultural waste, biodegradable materials, water research, and sustainable membrane technology. He has reviewed over 400 manuscripts for internationally renowned publishers, including ACS, RSC, Elsevier, Wiley, Nature, Cell Press, Springer, and MDPI. He has published over 60 academic papers indexed by SCI with an H-index of 20 and over 1,600 citations.
