Sabrina da Silva Corrêa Raimundo is an Assistant Professor at Unifavip Wyden University Center, located in Northeast Brazil. She earned her bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (2018) and her master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering (2021) from Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), and is currently pursuing her PhD in Civil Engineering. Her research is focused on Hydraulic Engineering, particularly in computational modeling, calibration, and optimization of water distribution systems, as well as improving energy and hydraulic efficiency in water supply systems. Her work contributes to advancing sustainable and efficient water management practices.
Saulo de Tarso Marques Bezerra is an Associate Professor in the Civil Engineering program and the Graduate Program in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil. He holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (2003), a master's degree in Civil (2005) and Environmental Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Automation (2009). He serves as the Coordinator of the Multiuser Water and Energy Laboratory (LAMAE) and the Geoprocessing Laboratory (GEOLAB). He is the leader of the research group on Water Resources Engineering, Soil, and Environment. He has supervised around 70 students at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. His academic production includes nearly 200 technical-scientific publications, including books, book chapters, and articles in journals and conference proceedings. He is currently a Research Productivity Fellow of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), the main research funding agency in Brazil. His research interests lie in Hydraulic Engineering, with a focus on computational modeling, calibration, and optimization of water distribution systems, as well as the energy and hydraulic efficiency of water supply systems, demand management, and the rational use of water and energy in urban environments.
