Dr. Kayode Oshinubi is a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems at Northern Arizona University, USA, and the co-founder of the Black in Mathematics Association. Before joining Northern Arizona University, he was a visiting researcher at Oxford University, UK (January 2022–August 2022) and Bielefeld University, Germany (November 2022–January 2023). He obtained his B.Sc. in Mathematics from Ekiti State University, Nigeria, in 2013; his M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, in 2015; and his Ph.D. from Université Grenoble Alpes, France, in 2022. He is a member of several scientific societies, including the Institute of Applied Mathematics (UK), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Region 8 (Computer Science section), the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), the International Computer Science and Engineering Society (ICSES), the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), and others. His research interests include respiratory and vector-borne infections, health equity, biostatistics, machine learning, data analysis, statistical analysis, infectious disease modeling, data modeling, biomathematics, mathematical modeling, epidemiological modeling, computational epidemiology, and public health.
