Bayram Karaman received his biomedical major degree from Erciyes University in 2019. In the same year, he started an integrated PhD program at Erciyes University Biomedical Department. In 2020, he started working as a research assistant at tokat gaziosmanpaşa Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department and is currently continuing this role. His research interests are mainly as follows: signal processing, image processing machine learning machine learning data mining deep learning.
Prof. Dr. Ayşegül GÜVEN received her MSc degree in Electronics Engineering from the Institute of Natural Sciences, Erciyes University, in 1999, with a thesis titled "Temperature transmission between a model aircraft and a ground station." She completed her PhD in Electronics Engineering at the same institute in 2006. Her doctoral dissertation focused on "Diagnosis of certain eye diseases using electrophysiological signals supported by artificial neural networks."
She began her academic career as an assistant professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Erciyes University, in 2007. She was promoted to associate professor in 2013, and to professor in 2019 in the same department.
Her research interests include biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, and signal processing, with a particular focus on the application of AI techniques in electrophysiological data analysis.
Prof. Dr. Ayşe Öner completed her medical degree at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine and received her specialization in Ophthalmology from Erciyes University in 2002, with a thesis on "Pattern Electroretinography in the Evaluation of Ganglion Cell Layer and Macular Functions in Myopia." Following her specialization, she continued her academic career as a lecturer at Erciyes University and conducted studies on the medical retina, vitreoretinal surgery, and ocular electrophysiology. To enhance her experience in the field of the retina, she worked at GATA Retina Unit in 2003 and joined the Ophthalmology Department at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium as an observer in 2006 under the supervision of Prof. Anita Leys. Since 2019, she has been working within Acıbadem Healthcare Group and is currently continuing her doctoral research on stem cells. She is in the thesis stage of her PhD program at GEN-KÖK (Center for Stem Cell and Gene Therapies Research and Application). Her research interests are mainly as follows: ophthalmology and medical and surgical retina.
