Prof. Dr. Miguel Henrique De Almeida Santana currently works as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering of the University of São Paulo. He received his degree in Animal Science (2008) and a Master's degree in Veterinary Sciences (2010) from the Federal University of Paraná. He completed his PhD in Science (2013, concentration area Animal Science), a Post-Doctorate (2018), and a Full Professorship (2022) from the School of Animal Science and Food Engineering of the University of São Paulo. He worked as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Copenhagen (2014-2015) and as a Collaborating Researcher at the Department of Animal Science of the School of Animal Science and Food Engineering of the University of São Paulo through the FAPESP Young Researchers program until 2019. His research interests mainly include beef cattle production, omics sciences, and nutrigenomics.
