Cinthia Maia Pederneiras received her PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Lisbon in 2021. She has worked as a researcher and project manager. Currently, she works at the National Laboratory for Civil Engineering (LNEC). Her research topics mainly include sustainable construction, building materials, and environmental impacts.
José Alexandre Bogas graduated in Civil Engineering in 1999. He received his Master's (2003) and Doctoral (2011) degrees from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) - University of Lisbon, Portugal, where he has been lecturing since 1997. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture and has conducted several studies on construction materials. Concrete performance and characterization is his main domain of expertise, and he has published several international papers in this field.
