Dr. Miriam Belluzzo is a psychologist and Ph.D. candidate in Public Administration and Innovation for Disability and Social Inclusion at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. She holds a Master's degree in Social Psychology (summa cum laude) from the University of Palermo and is currently pursuing advanced specialization in Lacanian Psychoanalysis at the Freudian Institute in Rome. As a contract professor at the University of Palermo (2021–2024), she taught Developmental and Educational Psychology. Her clinical work focuses on vulnerable populations, including unaccompanied minors, LGBTQI+ individuals, and psychiatric patients, blending therapy with advocacy for social inclusion. Her research on gender, disability, and sexuality includes 20+ publications in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes. She has contributed to European projects like OPSIZO (diversity in microenterprises) and My Virtual World (3D job environments for autistic individuals), presenting findings at national and international conferences. Dr. Belluzzo collaborates with academic and clinical institutions to promote mental health equity and inclusive policies. A member of the Italian Psychology Association (AIP) and Italian Society of Health Psychology (SIPSA), she engages in interdisciplinary work challenging stigma and fostering empowerment.
