Prof. Ivan Cimrák is a full professor at the Cell-in-fluid Biomedical Modelling & Computations Group, Faculty of Management Science and Informatics, University of Zilina. In 2001, he graduated from Comenius University, Slovakia in Numerical Mathematics and Mathematical Analysis, and then went to Ghent University in Belgium for doctoral studies. In 2011, he held a postdoc at Ghent University, Belgium, and FWO Vlaanderen. His research interests include computational fluid dynamics, blood cell modeling, cell biomechanics, and microfluidic cell manipulation.
