Prof. Dr. Yuqiang Tian is a professor at the Faculty of Geographical Science, Beijing Normal University. He received a PhD at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, majoring in Ecology, from 2003 to 2007. He went to the University of Montana, USA, from 2018 to 2019 and the International Mountain Center from August to November 2016 as a visiting scholar. In addition, he also serves as a member of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau Research Association, the Beijing Ecological Society, and the Executive Director of the Huailai Field Experiment Station at Beijing Normal University, and as a reviewer for journals such as the Journal of Agricultural Environmental Science, the Chinese Journal of Ecological Agriculture, the Journal of Resources and Ecology, the Journal of Grassland Science, and the Journal of Ecological Environment. His research focuses on grassland resources and sustainable management, as well as environmental pollution and its risks in urbanized areas.
