Dr. Nitin Muttil is a water resources research lead in the Institute for Sustainable Industries and Liveable Cities at Victoria University (VU), Australia. His research expertise is in the areas of urban drainage modelling and flood control, water-sensitive urban design (WSUD), and the impacts of climate change on water resources. In recognition of his research efforts, Dr. Muttil was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Peak Award and a Citation For Excellence In Research & Research Training (Research Team Category) in 2011 and the Vice Chancellor’s Sustainable Award in 2022.
