Prof. Dr. Thomas Bruckner is Professor of Energy Management and Sustainability and Director of the Institute for Infrastructure and Resource Management (IIRM) of the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences at Leipzig University. His research interests include the (1) techno-economic optimization of municipal, national, and global energy systems, (2) analysis of liberalized energy markets under climate protection constraints, and (3) optimal integration of innovative climate protection technologies into future energy supply systems. He has published more than 200 scientific publications; the related h-index according to Google Scholar is 34. The number of invited lectures exceeds 200.
