Quansheng Guan completed his PhD studies at the South China University of Technology in 2011. He now serves as a Full Professor at the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, South China University of Technology. He is also a Senior Member of IEEE. He was awarded the Best Paper Awards from IEEE ICCC in 2014, from the IEEE ICNC in 2016, and from ACPEE in 2023, as well as the Best Demo Award from ACM WUWNET in 2018. His current research interests include underwater acoustic communications and networking, joint communications and sensing, and cloud/edge computing.
