Yanhui Lu is the director of the Institute of Plant Protection,
Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the executive deputy director of
the State Key Laboratory of Plant Disease and Insect Pest Biology. He is also
the Vice President of the China Association of Young Scientists and
Technologists and the Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Society of Plant
Protection. His research interests are plant-insect-enemy interaction;
population dynamics; chemical ecology; biological control; and pest management.
He won the 13th “China Youth Science and Technology Award,” the first “China
Outstanding Youth Science and Technology Talent Award,” and the 22nd “China
Youth May Fourth Medal.”
Senshan Wang is the Dean of the College of Plant Protection at
Gansu Agricultural University, China. He is also a director of the Chinese
Society of Plant Protection and vice president of the Gansu Plant Protection
Society. He received his Master’s (2001) and Ph.D. (2008) degrees from Gansu
Agricultural University. From 2013 to 2014, he was sent to the University of
New England, Australia, as a visiting scholar for one year. He is mainly engaged
in teaching and scientific research in agricultural entomology.
