Prof. Dr. eng. Elzbieta Bielecka is a Full Professor (from
2016) and now a Senior Professor at the Military University of Technology in Warsaw,
Poland. She has a PhD in Geography from Warsaw University (1990), and her
research interests include spatial analysis, spatial pattern analysis, land
use/land cover change, and population distribution. She is also interested in
geospatial visualization and usability of crowdsourced data.
Dr. Anna Markowska is an Assistant Professor at the Remote Sensing Center, Geodesy and Cartography (Warsaw, Poland). She completed her PhD studies at the Faculty of Geography and the Regional Studies University of Warsaw (2015). She has experience in spatial analyses using spatial (GIS) and satellite data, especially in rural and small town areas (urban green areas, urban agriculture, monitoring SDGs). She develops static and dynamic maps and geoportals. She is also interested in cartography, especially the usability of maps, school cartography, and geoportals in data visualization.
