Octavian Amariței received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, University Dunărea de Jos Galați, in 2023, and is now pursuing PhD studies in medicine. His research topics mainly include Lipoprotein(a), cardiovascular prevention, and risk stratification. Also, he is currently working as a second-year cardiology resident in the local hospital and as a university assistant at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, Dunărea de Jos University Galați, teaching cardiology and physiology.
