Dr. Husnul Fitri is a lecturer in the Urban Studies Program at the School of Strategic and Global Studies, Universitas Indonesia. She earned her PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). She was awarded the SYLFF Fellowship by The Tokyo Foundation to complete her Master’s degree and later received a visiting research fellowship at the University of Florida from the same institution to support her dissertation work. In 2023, she was also granted the Sage Concept Grant by Sage Methodspace. Dr. Fitri has published extensively in various academic journal and currently serves as a member of the International Committee for the Urban Affairs Association. Her teaching areas include urban housing and spatial justice, urban governance and management, strategic urban planning, urban mental health, urban culture and tourism, urban social change, global urban issues, and research methods. Her research interests focus on urban social inclusion (inclusive city), urban psychology, urban security, and spatial justice.
