Dr. Sun Tae Ahn is a urologist and clinical assistant
professor of the Department of Urology at the Korea University College of
Medicine, Guro Hospital, in Seoul, Korea. He received his medical degree from
the Korea University College of Medicine in 2008 and his Ph.D. from the Korea
University Graduate School of Medicine in 2019. He completed his residency at
Korea University Medical Center and obtained his board certification in Urology
in 2013. He has been actively engaged in research on urology, urological
infections, and urological trauma. He also contributed as the author of the
book ‘Illustrated Textbook of Penile Surgery’. He is an active member of the
Korean Urological Association (KUA), the Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and
Andrology (KSSMA), the Korean Society of Men’s Health and Aging (KSMHA), the
Asia Pacific Society for Sexual Medicine (APSSM), the International Society for
Sexual Medicine (ISSM), and the American Urological Association (AUA).
Currently, he is interested in research regarding the microbiome of urological
disease and androgen metabolism.
