Prof. Jin Yu received his bachelor’s and PhD from Nanjing
University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2009 and 2016, respectively. He
also received a joint PhD from MIT in 2014. From 2016 to 2018, he was a
postdoctoral fellow at Beijing Computational Science Research Center. He worked
as an Assistant Researcher at the University of Radboud, the Netherlands, from
2016 to 2020. He is now an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanics and
Engineering Sciences, Shanghai University. He is a reviewer for journals such
as Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. Appl., Phys. Rev. B, Phys. Rev. Matter., J. Phys. Chem. Lett., J. Phys. Chem. C, RSC Adv., Appl. Phys. Lett., Superlattices and Microstructures, Chem. Phys. Lett. He is mainly engaged in the simulation of
the physical and mechanical properties of cutting-edge low-dimensional
materials.
