Dr. Joanna Newerli-Guz currently works at the Gdynia Maritime University. She studied Commodity and Cargo Sciences at the Higher Gdynia Maritime School and graduated as MS in 1996, then joined the research group of Prof. Maria Śmiechowska at the Department of Commodity Science at Gdynia Maritime Academy. Dr. Joanna Newerli-Guz received her PhD degree in 2006 at the same institution. She is a graduate of postgraduate studies in horticultural therapy. Dr. Joanna Newerli-Guz's research interests concern products of plant origin, in particular herbs and spices, and the possibilities of their use.
