Author Biographies

Shi Guoqing was born in 1974. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in system engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University. He is an associate professor at the Department of System and Control Engineering in the School of Electronics and Information at Northwestern Polytechnical University, China. His research interests include integrated avionics system simulation and test technologies, intelligent unmanned systems and task planning, and modeling simulation and effectiveness evaluation of complex systems.
Cao Yi was born in 1998 and is currently studying for a doctorate at Northwestern Polytechnical University. His main research areas are intelligent unmanned systems and mission planning, autonomous decision-making of unmanned aerial vehicles based on reinforcement learning, and cooperative control of manned/unmanned aerial vehicles.

Qiming Yang obtained his bachelor’s degree in detection guidance and control technology from Northwestern Polytechnical University in July 2010, a master’s degree in systems engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University in March 2013, and a doctor’s degree in electronic science and technology from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2020.
Dr. Jiandong Zhang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Electronics and Information, Northwestern Polytechnical University. In December 2004, he graduated with a doctorate in systems engineering from the School of Electronics and Information, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and has been working at the university since then. He is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research work in the fields of aviation fire control technology, cooperative control of manned/unmanned aerial vehicles, intelligent unmanned systems and mission planning, integration of avionics systems and its simulation technology, etc. As an awardee, he has won three second prizes and two third prizes of the National Defense Science and Technology Award. He has published 1 academic monograph and more than 70 papers, among which more than 30 are indexed by SCI, EI, and ISTP. He has applied for more than 20 invention patents and been awarded more than 10 patents.
