Author Biographies

Antje Kerstin Römhild received her Diploma degree in Social Sciences from the Justus-Liebig-University of Gießen in 2011. She worked as Research Assistant at the University of Applied Sciences (UAS) Erfurt (2013-2014), UAS Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen (2017–2019), project manager at the UAS Wiesbaden (2019-2022), and as research assistant for Diakonie Hessen (2022-2025). In 2022, she moved to Department of Social Work and Social Welfare at the University of Kassel. Her research topics mainly include health, inclusion, participation and accessibility in higher education, and support services.
Prof. Dr. Alfons Hollederer is currently professor for “Theory and Empirics of Health” at the Faculty of Human Sciences (FB 01), University of Kassel. He graduated with a degree in social work and a degree in public health. He completed his doctorate and his habilitation in public health (2010). His work in field has resulted in about 150 publications. His research interests include health equity, social determinants of health, health promotion, and students’ health.
