Prof. Louise Grace Avena-Ardeta is a dedicated chemical engineer, researcher, and educator with expertise in sustainable energy, waste-to-energy technologies, and process engineering. She holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Mapúa University and has received multiple academic and research excellence awards. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Mapúa University, she mentors students, conducts research on biogas generation, wastewater treatment, and adsorption technologies, and actively contributes to peer-reviewed publications in Scopus-indexed journals. Her research interests include electrochemical systems, nanocomposite synthesis for wastewater treatment, green polymer development, and CO₂ capture. Prof. Ardeta had also presented her works at international conferences and had served as session chair and member of technical committees, demonstrating her commitment to advancing chemical engineering knowledge.
