Dr. Zhi Pei received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in industrial engineering from Tsinghua University, in 2005 and 2011, respectively. Currently, he is a professor at the College of Mechanical Engineering, Zhejiang University of Technology. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Trans on Automation Science and Engineering, an Editorial Board Member for the International Journal of Robotics and Automation Technology, and a Guest Editor for Mathematics. In addition, he is a Senior Member of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering and a Member of the Production System Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering and the Natural Computing and Digital Smart City Committee of the Chinese Society for Artificial Intelligence. His research interests include intelligent manufacturing, service-oriented manufacturing, and smart logistics.
