Prof. Jian Li is a Class A talent at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, a researcher, a doctoral/master’s tutor, a tutor at the National Academy of Excellent Engineers, the leader of the “Intelligent Elderly Care and Rehabilitation” interdisciplinary team, and a specially appointed expert in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Beihang University. He is also a member of the China Digital Orthopedics Committee of the International
Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SICOT), a standing member of the Rehabilitation Equipment and Biomaterials Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomaterials, a member of the Intelligent Vehicle and Robotics Branch of the Chinese Instrument Society, a member of the Rehabilitation Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, an editorial board member of the “China Robot Industry Yearbook”, and a youth editorial board member of “Biomimetic Intelligence and Robotics”, etc. He has also won many awards, including the first special prize in the Rehabilitation Assistive Device Innovation Design Competition, the second prize in the National Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Innovation Design Competition, and the second prize in the China Graduate Mathematical Modeling Competition. He is mainly engaged in research on intelligent robots, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, etc.
