My name is Shiqiang Luo and I currently serve as the R&D Director at Zinergy Shenzhen Ltd. I earned my Ph.D. from the City University of Hong Kong in 2017 and maintain a strong passion for hands-on research. During my undergraduate studies at Nankai University, I published my first SCI-indexed paper in 2010, which marked my initial exploration into luminescence mechanisms and spectral analysis. Driven by an interest in energy materials, I later focused on perovskite solar cell research during my doctoral and postdoctoral work, co-authoring a study published in Nature Communications. In 2020, I joined Zinergy Shenzhen Ltd. after completing my postdoctoral training and shifted my research focus to aqueous zinc-based batteries, with an emphasis on translating my experimental findings into industrial applications. Fortunately, my research for the company's products progressed smoothly, allowing me to allocate time for academic research. At Zinergy, my colleagues and I have filed over 50 patent applications, contributed to the development of 1 industry standard, and published 6 SCI/EI papers. Currently, I am actively seeking part-time professorship opportunities worldwide to foster academic–industry collaboration.
