Dr. Meng Chen is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Environment and Ecology at Xiamen University. He received his Ph.D. from Xiamen University (2000). From October 2000 to October 2002, he conducted postdoctoral research at Xiamen University. From December 2008 to December 2009, he was a visiting scholar at the Japan Frozen Food Inspection Association. The courses he teaches include Environmental Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis. He was selected as Fujian Province High-Level Talent Category B (2022) and Xiamen City High-Level Talent Category B (2023). His research interests include environmental analytical chemistry, organic pollution chemistry, food safety testing technology, and traceability systems.
