Dr. Terry J. Housh is a Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences, Director of the Exercise Physiology Laboratory, and Co-Director of the Center for Youth Fitness and Sports Research at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL), USA. He has co-authored more than 230 peer-reviewed research articles and nine college textbooks. He was the 1998 recipient of the NSCA Outstanding Sport Scientist Award, 2002 Doane College Honor D Award, 2006 NSCA Educator of the Year Award, 2008 NSCA President’s Award, and 2008 Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research Editorial Excellence Award. In 2009, the NSCA named its annual award the "Terry J. Housh Young Investigator Award".
