Lihua Ye is an associate professor at Jiangsu University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing from Jiangsu University in 1997, her master’s degree in Environmental Engineering in 2005, and her Ph.D. in Power Machinery and Engineering in 2011, all from the same university. From 2014 to 2015, she was a senior visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), sponsored by Jiangsu Province. She is currently a member of both the Chinese Internal Combustion Engine Society and the International Combustion Institute. Her research focuses on clean and alternative fuel technologies, spray combustion processes, and laser spectroscopy diagnostics.
Aiping Shi, Master of Engineering, Professor, and Master Supervisor, graduated from Jiangsu University (formerly Jiangsu Institute of Technology) with a bachelor’s degree in Automobile and Tractor Engineering in July 1991. In the same year, he joined the faculty and has since worked in various departments, including the Student Affairs Office, School of Energy and Power Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering, Logistics Management Office, and the School of Agricultural Equipment Engineering. In December 2006 and December 2009, he participated in the provincial "333 Project" for senior expert intellectual support in Suqian and the provincial "Double Hundred Project."
His research focuses on two primary areas are as follows:
(1) The development and utilization of new energy sources, such as biomass energy and solar energy;
(2) Research and development of tractors and their key components.
