Prof. Qian Wang is an associate
professor employed by Zhejiang University of Technology, School of Information
Engineering, Intelligent Network and Computing Team. She received a PhD at the National
University of Singapore, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from
2012 to 2017. She serves as a senior member of the Chinese Society of
Communications, a member of the Optical Society of America (OSA), and an
international journal reviewer, including IEEE Transactions on Industrial
Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Vehicle Technology, IEEE Signal Processing
Letters and other journals. She has led and participated in many scientific
research projects, such as the Research on the DSP compensation algorithm for
high-speed inter-satellite laser communication transmission damage based on
constellation shaping and coherent detection, reform project of teaching
content and curriculum system of “Optical Transmission and Optical Access”,
research on signal detection algorithm for space optical communication system
based on generalized likelihood ratio test principle. Her research
focuses on communication signal processing, IoT communication, and intelligent
networks and computing.
Prof. Li Ping Qian is a
professor and doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University of Technology. She is
also the Head of the Information and Communication Engineering Discipline. She
obtained a doctoral degree in Information Engineering from the Chinese
University of Hong Kong in 2010. After that, she worked as a postdoctoral
researcher in the Department of Information Engineering at the Chinese
University of Hong Kong from 2010 to 2011. She went to the University of
Waterloo as a visiting scholar from 2016 to 2017. She won the second prize
of the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Award, the first prize of the Zhejiang
Communication Society Science and Technology Award, the nomination award for the
Hong Kong Youth Science Award, and so on. In addition, she also serves as an
editorial board member for international journals such as IEEE Transactions on
Cognitive Communications and Networking, Chair of the Technical Program
Committee for EAI MLICOM2018 International Conference, Chair of the IC 2023
Workshop, and Co-Chair of multiple specialized seminars. Her
main research areas include the fundamental theory and key technologies of
resource management and optimization in wireless communication and networks,
the integration theory of intelligent network communication and computing,
distributed machine learning for intelligent networks, and group intelligence
in the Internet of Things.
