Prof. Dr. Yangwei Wang is a
Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing Institute
of Technology, Beijing, China. He earned his Ph.D. at the Beijing Institute of
Technology in 2005. He is also deputy director of the National key Laboratory of Science and Technology on Materials under Shock and Impact. His research interests include
preparation of ceramic-metal composites, dynamic mechanical behavior of
materials, evolution characteristics of material microstructure, and design of
impact-resistant composite structures.
