Nouf Ali ALAjmi is a Lecturer at the College of Computer and Information Sciences at King Saud University, where she teaches Artificial Intelligent Systems, Data Mining, User Experience Design, Data Structures, and Fundamentals of Operating Systems. Actively involved in academic advising and student project supervision, Ms. ALAjmi guided a "Smart Cart" project to 1st place in the IT Department in 2024. A Ph.D. candidate in Information Systems at King Saud University, she graduated top of her class in Saudi Arabia with a perfect high school score of 100%. She holds Bachelor's (First Class Honors, 4.75/5.00) and Master's (Excellent Honors, 4.48/5.00) degrees in IT and Information Systems from King Saud University, Riyadh. Her research interests include AI (covering Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Expert Systems), QML, Big Data (with a focus on Healthcare), and Data Mining. Ms. ALAjmi has presented at international conferences and published in the Turkish Journal of Computer and Mathematics Education (TURCOMAT). Her prior research includes big data analytics in healthcare, the impact of COVID-19 on e-commerce in KSA, and a contribution to "Shopmobia: An Emotion-based Shop Rating System" (IEEE Humaine Association Conference).
MUHAMMAD SHOAIB
(S'95_M'17_SM'23) received his Ph.D. (2010) in Communication and Information
System from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. He
received his M.Eng. (2005) and B.Eng. (1995) from NED University of Engineering
and Technology, Pakistan. His research areas include compression and error
resilience in video coding, multimedia framework in eHealth application,
communication and information security, cloud computing, Internet of Things
(IoT), and mobile and wireless networks. He has published more than 60+ research
articles in peer-reviewed, well-recognized international conferences and
journals. Many of his research articles are among the highly cited and most
downloaded. He worked as a Senior Manager (IP Operations) in Pakistan
Telecommunication Company Limited, Pakistan, from 2001-2011. He also worked as a
Maintenance Engineer at R. M. International from 1996-2001. Currently, he is
working as an Associate Professor in the College of Computer and
Information Sciences in King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.
