Author Biographies

Dr. Mohammed Sallam has been the Pharmacy Manager and Head of the Department at ‎Mediclinic Middle East, Dubai-UAE, since 2003. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the ‎Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU). He is a leader in ‎various Mediclinic Group committees, including the Senior Leadership Team and the Research ‎Advisory Group. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the International American ‎University, USA, an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Jordan, an Executive ‎MBA from Curtin University, Dubai, a Supply Chain Management Masters from INSEAD, and an ‎Executive Education Management Development Masters from Hult International Business School. He is a Certified Purchasing Professional, Six Sigma Black Belt, ACRP Certified Professional ‎‎(ACRP-CP), and holds Good Clinical Research Practice certificates. He has been a member of ‎ASQ, ASHP, and SHPA. A registered pharmacist in Jordan and the UAE, he is an active member of the Jordan Pharmacists Association. He serves on the College of Pharmacy Advisory Boards at UAE ‎universities, including Sharjah, Ajman, and HCT. Dr. Sallam has published many research articles, is a peer reviewer for many scientific journals, ‎and has research interests in Lean Six Sigma, Hospital Pharmacy Operations, Medication Safety, ‎Health Economics, Microbial Epidemiology, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Vaccine Hesitancy, ‎COVID-19, Obesity Management, AI, LLMs, and ChatGPT.
