Fajun Zhao is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Petroleum Engineering, Northeast Petroleum University, Daqing, China. He graduated from Daqing Petroleum Institute with a major in petroleum processing in 1996, obtained a Master's Degree in chemical technology in 2005, and his Ph.D. in oil and gas field development engineering in 2009. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Daqing Oilfield Co., Ltd. from 2009 to 2012. He has been committed to scientific research and teaching in the fields of oil and gas recovery, chemical theory and engineering, heavy oil thermal recovery, and unconventional energy development.
