Dr. Yung-Fang Chen is a Professor in the Department of Communication Engineering, National Central University, Taoyuan, Taiwan. He received a B.S. degree in computer science and information engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1990; an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1994; and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, he was working at Lucent Technologies, Whippany, NJ, where he was with the CDMA Radio Technology Performance Group. Since 2000, he has been working at the Faculty of the Department of Communication Engineering, National Central University, Taoyuan, Taiwan, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include resource management algorithm designs for communication systems and signal processing algorithm designs for wireless communication systems.
