Prof. Chengkai Tang earned his bachelor's degree in communication engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University in July 2008, followed by a master's degree and PhD in communication and information engineering from the same institution in May 2011 and May 2015, respectively. Additionally, he pursued a joint PhD program at the University of Virginia from October 2012 to April 2014. In recognition of his expertise, he was appointed as a professor in 2022. Currently, he holds the esteemed role of overseeing the 6G Internet Research Center at the School of Electronic Information at Northwestern Polytechnical University. Beginning in 2023, Prof. Tang has expanded his academic horizons by joining the University of Glasgow as a visiting scholar. In this capacity, he is actively involved in spearheading the establishment of the 6G Internet Laboratory, demonstrating his commitment to cutting-edge research in the field of communication and information engineering. His primary research methods include collaborative positioning, intelligent navigation, and Terahertz (Thz) transmission navigation.
