Hristina Svetoslavova Stoycheva received her Master's degree in Communication technique and technologies from theTechnical University of Gabrovo in 2015. Afterward, she defended her PhD in Automation, Information, and Control Systems at theTechnical University of Gabrovo in 2021. She worked as assistant with the Department of Communication Technique and Technologies, Faculty of Electronics and Engineering at the Technical University of Gabrovo, Bulgaria (2017–2021). In 2021, she was promoted to Chief Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication Technique and Technologies, Faculty of Electronics and engineering at the Technical University of Gabrovo, Bulgaria. Her research topics mainly include the following: chaos, secure communications, image encryption, AI, ANN, computer vision, image and video processing. Dr. Stoycheva has participated in several scientific projects and has published more than 20 papers in both national and international conferences and journals. Chief Assistant Professor Stoycheva is an IEEE member. She teaches courses for Bachelor's and Master's degree students both in English and Bulgarian language.
Stanimir Mihaylov Sadinov received his Master's degree in Communication Engineering from the Technical University of Gabrovo in 1994, and then defended his PhD in Communication Networks and Systems in 2006. He worked as an assistant, senior, and chief assistant in the Department of Communications Equipment and Technologies, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Electronics at the Technical University of Gabrovo, Bulgaria (2000–2009). In 2009, he acquired the academic position of "Associate Professor", and since 2021 he has been a "Professor" in the Department of Communications Equipment and Technologies, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Electronics at the Technical University of Gabrovo, Bulgaria. He was the Head of the Department of Communications Equipment and Technologies in the period 2016–2024, and from 2024 to now he is the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Electronics at the Technical University of Gabrovo, Bulgaria. His research topics mainly include the following: wireless and optical communications, image encryption, AI, ANN, computer vision, image and video processing. Prof. Sadinov has participated in a number of scientific projects and has published more than 150 papers in national and international conferences and journals. Prof. Sadinov is a member of IEEE. He teaches Bachelor's and Master's courses in English and Bulgarian, and is a supervisor of doctoral students.
Krasen Kirov Angelov received his Master's degree in Communication Engineering from the
Technical University of Gabrovo in 2005, and completed his PhD studies in Communication
Networks and Systems at the Technical University of Gabrovo in 2016. He worked
as a Chief Assistant Professor in the Department of Communications Equipment
and Technologies, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Electronics at the
Technical University of Gabrovo, Bulgaria (2016 –2021). In 2021, he was
promoted to Associate Professor in the Department of Communications Equipment
and Technologies, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Electronics at the
Technical University of Gabrovo. Since 2023, Krasen Kirov Angelov has been Head of the
Department of Communications Equipment and Technologies, Technical University
of Gabrovo. He recently led the Projects “Development of IoT/4G/5G-based
communication solutions for platforms, systems and services in a "Smart
City"” and “Planning, design and optimization of wireless communication
platforms, services and solutions for 5G and IoT applications”. He has
published more than 100 papers in various national and international
conferences and journals. Assoc. Prof. Angelov is a member of IEEE and the Union
of Scientists in Bulgaria. His research topics mainly include the following: broadband
communications, cybersecurity, AI, IoT.
